Tammy Slaton is in pretty good shape these days.
he’s married. He has lost a ton of weight. She may also leave her rehab facility sometime in the near future.
But things weren’t always so positive for the TLC personality.
In a sneak peek from the February 7 episode of 1000-LB Sisters uploaded today by E! News, we go back several months to a particularly scary and terrifying incident that affected the Slaytons and even some of the family members.
TLC by E! In footage provided to T.J., Tammy’s sisters – Amanda Slaton and Misty Slaton – learn that Tammy’s house was broken into shortly after Tammy checked into rehab the previous year.
As Amanda and Misty arrive at Tammy’s house to “pick up some things she wanted”, they immediately notice that something is terribly wrong.
“Girl, all his stuff is gone!” Amanda says in the clip. “Oh, that’s some bull-t. Wait, I’m going to video this quick.”
Amanda and Misty really can’t believe the extent of the theft and the damage involved.
“The fridge was over here,” Amanda says as she shoots the video on her phone.
“The table was here. The kitchen sink is gone. The bathroom sink. The water heater is missing. Her dresser that was here is gone along with the rest of the clothes and the sh-t in it.
Crazy, isn’t it?
How can all these things be taken from someone else’s house without being caught?!?
While her loved ones deal with the ordeal, they are afraid to break the news to Tammy – who is busy fighting her own personal battle in rehab.
“It was her whole house. Imagine someone coming in and taking everything you had,” Amanda says.
“What is she coming home for? Nothing here. I don’t even know if I want her to go home there now.”
The siblings eventually get in the car and plan to file a police report.
“I’m nervous about telling Tammy, ‘Girl, all your stuff’s gone and your house’s been robbed,'” Amanda T says in the sneak peek.
“It’s definitely devastating for Tammy because she loves her home. She loves having her own space to call her own. She doesn’t have anything of her own at the moment.
“Just the clothes she had taken with her.
“She has no place at the moment and all she wants to do is come home.”
To be clear, as previously mentioned, this episode was filmed several months ago.
As reported – by Tammy herself! – Lately, Slaton is doing fine these days.
Better than fine, really.
