This week, it was all about Selena Gomez. He didn’t really do anything wrong. In fact, he did a lot of things right.
It started when it secured its crown as the most followed account on Instagram. She has already held this title in her name. This time, she edged out Kylie Jenner for the title. Yes, it will be important later.
Then, she posted an innocuous post discussing how she accidentally messed up her eyebrows. Along with this, he also praised the beauty of Bella Hadid.

And then Kylie Jenner posted the above Instagram Story. Just three hours after Selena posted her eyebrow accident, Kylie posted “Was it an accident?”

Was this too a coincidence? Kylie shared a glimpse of her video chat with Hailey Baldwin Bieber. Both had their screens zoomed in on their brows.
Why Hailey? Well, they’re friends. But also… Hailey is married to Justin Bieber. Justin isn’t just Selena’s ex. He looked forward to marrying Selena, just months before he proposed to Hailey.
Obviously, it’s not Hailey’s fault. But there is a public perception, whether true or otherwise, that Hailey feels “obsessed” with Selena. So… this whole eyebrow thing seemed like a shade, from her and Kylie.

A TikToker named Noah did a thorough investigation into why people believe this was intentional shade to Selena. Kylie also responded, claiming that the post was “reaching out” and that she hadn’t even seen Selena’s “eyebrow post”.
Selena Gomez herself responded, writing that she “agrees” with Kylie that it was a reach.
“It’s all unnecessary,” she wrote on TikTok.
Selena opted to take the high road and diffuse the situation, adding a diplomat: “I’m a Kylie fan!”
