A few days ago, the former introduced her new boyfriend to the world, stating for the public record that she has moved on from ex-spirit husband Cody.
Meanwhile, Mary just posted and then quickly deleted the following photo:
Along with this sweet snapshot, the Sister Wives star wrote a caption that began with these words:
“Happy birthday to this beautiful man right here.
“And when I say beautiful, I mean both inside and out. Of all the people in the world, she gets me. We have similar backgrounds.
“We go on parallel paths, almost to the point of being laughably creepy, but at the same time, it’s nice to have someone who really understands. She holds the space when I need to process.
Mary didn’t name this woman, but ended this week:
“She’s thoughtful and giving. She knows more about me than almost anyone. She can laugh uproariously, and let me tell you, if you started the two of us…
“She’s got my back, I’ve got hers. She’s someone I’d go through fire for, and really have gone through fire for.”
“Human beings like him are rare, and I am forever grateful to have him in my corner.”
Very strong and powerful words, huh?
They may have been written about a close friend.
But try telling that to social media users.
“I owe it to a couple of years ago,” one person replied with the glowing caption.
“I’m pretty sure she’s giving us a soft launch here. Doesn’t require a microscope to read between these lines,” commented another person on Reddit.
Marie, of course, suffered from a one-sided and unhealthy relationship with Cody for many years.
The couple finally split in January.
“After more than a decade of working on our relationship in our own unique ways, we have decided to permanently end our marriage,” they wrote in a joint statement at the time.
“Throughout this process, we commit to kindness and respect for each other and for all members of our families,” concluded Ax today.
“We are also committed to the ongoing healing of any and all relationships with family so that we can move forward with forgiveness, grace and love.”
Along with this message, Meri asked the fans not to trash Cody in any way.
“Today I recover my power,” she then said aside to confirm the divorce.
“There is much more to tell about this story, and I assure you, my truth will be told.
“But for now, know that I have peace in my heart, and I hold no animosity toward Cody.
“I am not, and pray I will never be, in a place where I would enjoy making, or you would enjoy making, rude and mean comments about him.”
Reality star ending in early 2023:
