Amy Slaton can’t do this on her own, you guys.
On Tuesday night’s episode of 1000 Pound Sisters, Amy and her husband Michael attend a barbecue… just two weeks after she gave birth to her second child, Glenn.
At one point, Amy’s first child, Gage, began to act a little fussy, prompting his mother to take him away for a bit.
and then lamenting the lonely and difficult situation in which she finds herself.
“Everyone is having fun, having a good old time,” she told the audience, growing quite emotional.
“I’m hot as hell in here. I just recovered from surgery, I haven’t slept at all, and Gauge won’t stop crying.”
Amy, as you know, had to undergo C-section to give birth to both of her children.
She recently talked about the challenges of having two very young children.
In this case, Michael didn’t offer any help at all, allowing sister Amanda to step in and take on the role of helpful Auntie.
“The boys started crying and I’m trying to choose what to pay attention to at that point and I just feel like, How am I going to do this?” Amy wonders in front of the camera.
“How am I going to be a mother to two boys and not hurt a single one of their feelings?”
So many parents around the world are shaking their heads in sympathy at this point, we bet.
Amanda was actually present during her brother’s confession and provided major reassurance after Amy cried.
Amanda told Amy, “You’re not going to do this sh–t on your own.”
“You’re married and you have a husband, and he’s about to be a father too.”
Shortly after these events aired, social media users jumped online — and went all over Michael.
One person commented, “How someone didn’t grab a baby and hand the baby over to Michael, I don’t know.”
“I’m not a cool, cold person when it comes to the obvious. That’s the daddy he needs to stop eating and be a dad.
Meanwhile, another raised a valid medical concern:
“Should Amy raise the gauge after recently having a C-section? Michael, go help your wife.
In an unrelated story, but one that also involved Amy, there was talk that she and her family members were unhappy with the editing on 1000-lb Sisters.
He is also reportedly unhappy with his salary.
As a result?
A report says that the sisters may soon consider relocating the network!
