Tiffany Franco gets candid about 90 Day Fiancé being “scripted”

Just a few months ago, Tiffany was going strong with Franco Dan.

There was a vicious cycle of her and Ronald Smith breaking up and getting back together. Finally, she was able to move on.

Now that she’s out of her Ronald era, Tiffany is opening up to fans about her experiences filming 90 Day Fiancé Suffrage.

A fan asked him if the show was “scripted”, as some viewers suspected. Tiffany stunned followers with the bluntness and honesty of her answer.

Recently, Tiffany Franco took to Instagram to conduct a Q&A session with her fans and followers.

For years, fans have insisted 90 Day Fiancé is “scripted,” which alludes to claims that some bitter alums have made. Additionally, these skeptics have expressed that they do not believe that real people could have such dramatic lives.

So, naturally, a follower asked Tiffany, very pointedly, whether it’s true. Naturally, most would not have expected him to answer.

“No,” replied Tiffany. There is much more to say about his answer, but let’s look at his full answer first.

“But,” he continued, “they give you an idea of what subject to go [bring] Above.”

Tiffany explained that these cues from the production then serve “to cover what needs to be shown in the show”.

First of all, “no” is important. A small number of alums have claimed that the show is “scripted”, especially when they don’t like how fans see them.

But, as we’ve reported over the years, 90 Day Fiancé Doesn’t use a script. If they did, and we found out about it, we would be just too excited to report it. This would be a huge scam!

In fact, the franchise relies on three major means to turn people’s lives into entertainment.

The first is casting. This is not a scientific survey of random international couples. This is a reality series.

This means producers seek to cast people with clear stories to tell. The issues of age gap, clear agenda, and glaring personality can increase the audience.

Naturally, they also cast some likeable people. The show always needs balance. They cast potential recurring villains, potential fan-favorites, and plenty of pairings with potential for both drama and finale.

The second tool is the one that Tiffany mentions – production interference.

Now, most of the time, it’s just as she describes. The producers would ask the cast to touch on specific topics, things they would otherwise have discussed in private. They can’t film them having breakfast and call it a day.

There are extreme examples when production has crossed the limit. It’s one thing to ask a question or suggest a topic. But suggesting that a cast member’s friend causes problems on purpose (like David’s friend asking for massages) is a step too far.

Third, the show uses editing to cram a dozen or so episodes of entertainment into more than months of recording.

From editing, music choices to what they do and don’t show the audience, it can skew the way people view artists.

An example? If a cast member cries several times during months of stressful filming, creative editing can make it seem like they’re “always” crying. And editing can hide even very reasonable reasons for tears.

Meanwhile, Tiffany is dropping some not-so-subtle hints that she’s done more donations.

(You may have missed it, because TikTok is a hellish app where users have very little control over which videos they watch – at least, if they let the app’s hellish algorithms have their way.)

But between thinking that her new man was “different” and framing herself as a clown to give advice, Tiffany feels she is the new single.

She is yet to confirm this. Or say on TikTok, a social media app for adults.

We hope she updates fans soon as to what went wrong.

But then again, we’ve learned something recently 90 Days: The Single Life Spoilers… and it’s possible we’ll see Tiffany again on that season or another.
