Chris Harrison: Bring me back, ABC! Only I can save the bachelor!

Chris Harrison to the rescue?

As you may have heard by now, The Bachelor is struggling in the ratings.

Are fans tired of having the same series lead every season? Is such a downfall inevitable for a show that has aired for so many years?

We can’t say for sure.

but chris harrison does Here’s something to say about the state of the reality series:

Hire me back, ABC! let me save the day!

“I say never according to the axiom because in life and business, that comes back to bite you in the butt,” he said on the February 20 edition of his podcast The Most Dramatic Podcast Ever, adding that someday he would return:

“Will I have that conversation?

“Yeah. I believe in relationships and in business too, pick up the phone and you listen and you have that conversation, whether it’s uncomfortable or not.

Chris Harrison as host

Harrison parted ways with the network in March 2021 after she made racially-insensitive comments for sharing photos of a plantation-themed party from her college days.

Harrison said at the time in response to the scandal, “We all need a little grace, a little understanding, a little compassion.”

“I’ve seen some stuff online. Again, it’s judge, jury, executioner stuff where people are ruining this girl’s life…”

“Until I actually hear this woman have a chance to speak, who am I to say…”

Harrison has mostly apologized for his comments, and now thinks the executives should take a look at his popularity if they want to return The Bachelor to its former glory.

“With the advent of this podcast, they’ve seen the numbers,” claimed Harrison to guest co-host Tori Spelling.

“They’ve seen my social media reactions. They’re not deaf to all that. They’ve seen what’s happening, so am I surprised these conversations are happening? No.

“It wouldn’t be surprising. In fact, I’d be shocked if they weren’t happening.”

Harrison was temporarily replaced as host for season two of The Bachelorette by former leads Kaitlyn Bristowe and Tayshia Adams.

Jesse Palmer is in charge of the current season.

Whether or not Harrison is ever invited to return to Bachelor Nation, he readily acknowledges the positive impact their 2002 debut has had on him.

“I will always be grateful for this in my life,” he said in the podcast.

“It changed my life. It changed my kids’ lives. I still have a lot of friends working on the show—people I really care about. I loved my time there. Not all of it, It was still a job.

“But overall, it was wonderful. It was an incredible experience.”
