Earlier this month we reported on some rare good news from the Duggar family:
After years of living like an indentured servant under her parents’ roof, it looks like Jana Duggar has finally moved out at the age of 33.
The Duggar women typically aren’t allowed to leave the house until they’re married, so the news came as quite a shock to longtime fans (and critics) of the family.
Sadly, it now looks like the celebrations may be a little premature.
The news of the move came to us from Katie Joy of the “Without a Crystal Ball” YouTube channel.
His source was an unnamed brother of Jan’s who spoke on condition of anonymity.
(If there’s any advantage to having 18 siblings, it’s that you can speak out against your family while maintaining your anonymity.)
From the outset, the anonymous Duggar was highly selective with the language she used to describe the condition.
It soon became clear that while Jana was no longer the resident of her parents’ HomeHe Was still living on his property,
“Going back to Jan, he said, ‘Oh, she moved out two years ago. And I said, ‘She moved out two years ago?'” Joy said on her channel.
“he said yes.” And I said, ‘Well that’s not true, because she got a citation for child endangerment and her address was still your parent’s address,’ Joy continued,
“And she was still living in your house, and she still had the same address when she paid her fine.” Then he changed the story, and said, ‘Well, maybe it was a year ago.'”
The conversation coincided with the release of Jinger Duggar’s memoir, and it seemed that Jim Bob — and whatever son was serving as his mouthpiece here — hoped to tone down some of the claims he made while promoting the book. It was
Ginger said in an interview with Amy Beth Stucky, “If you get a job or you move out, you’re opening yourself up to the devil’s attacks because you don’t have an umbrella to protect you.” “
“So that’s what I believed with all my heart, and that’s why I stayed.”
Yes, Jinger Has Apparently Confirmed The Duggar Ladies No allowed to move out on her own, and then a few days later, an anonymous Duggar claimed that Jana was free to move out whenever she felt like it.
Many have accused Jana of lying about their living arrangements, but it is important to note that she has yet to comment on the situation.
In fact, Jana hasn’t posted anything on social media in almost a year.
With all that is going on with her family, we can’t say that we blame her!
