after a brief interval, 90 Day Fiancé: The Second Way came back. We are still getting to know the cast.
But one early fan-favorite pairing has been Gabriel Paboga and Isabel Posada. the audience has not saw them together, but really rooting for them.
Before Gabe’s flight to Colombia to be with her, Isabel meets up with some friends. Those who know her well, and who first introduced the couple.
There, she gets real, revealing everything from her sex life with Gabriel to her worries about how her father will react.
Isabel sat down with Samuel and Mateo. Some time ago, Sam invited Gabriel to see Colombia as part of his friend group while he was touring the country. He met Isabel, and the rest is history.
But before we get into what happened in Season 4, Episode 3 (beyond our recap, which we linked above), let’s talk about where it happened.
Isabel met up with her friends at Chiquita, sharing drinks amid the vibrant decor. Seriously, I was sending screenshots to my friends as I watched. love this place.
Isabelle talks to the camera about how she has lots of gay friends. Not only has she met the love of her life, but she also feels comfortable talking to him.
This comfort covers many intimate topics. One of them involves sex and intimacy.
Talking about sex can be challenging outside of specific friend groups, discussing sex with your transgender partner who has had bottom surgery is an extremely delicate topic.
After getting some advice from her friends about some creative decorations for Gabe’s reception, Isabel opens up to Gabe about the sex.
The two kiss a lot but don’t do much before Gabriel comes out as Isabelle’s trans. And Isabel actually already found out through her social media.
Speaking to Sam and Mateo, she admitted that she was feeling intimidated ahead of her first real hookup. Isabel admitted, “I had no idea what I was going to find materially.”
To be clear, Isabelle’s statement does not imply general ignorance about trans people.
Not all trans people have bottom surgery. After all, sex is not genitalia. But (many cis people would agree) having genitals you are comfortable with can be the key to positivity and happiness.
So, in addition to the effects of HRT on the genitals, there are some types of bottom surgery (as it’s called) that a trans man may choose to have. So Isabelle’s uncertainty was entirely justified.
“I didn’t even know what those surgeries involved,” Isabelle recalls discussing their first hookup.
“For me, it was something incredible, and it still is,” she gushed. “Clinically, medically, it’s very accurate.”
Isabelle said: “He can be aroused. I touch him and he feels it.”
“Baby, orgasm, that’s it,” said Isabelle, expressing her satisfaction—and Gabriel’s.
We’ve already heard about how nice Gabi is and overall a better person than her ex. Obviously, there’s no compromise in the bedroom.
“She has sensitivity and everything,” Isabelle elaborated. “So for me it’s like, wow.”
Isabelle has some questions she wouldn’t ask even if she had the chance.
“I don’t know if her orgasms are the same as mine, or I don’t know,” she told the camera. “It’s a pretty crazy question, but I’ve never asked him.”
Notably, all human gonads are essentially products of the same basic tissue. A penis, vulva, or any number of genital positions that may occur in intersex people, are all different growths and developments of the same sensitive tissue.
Viewers have already seen how much their children Sara and Miguel adore Gabe. Especially when they compare her to her toxic ex.
But Sarah, who is 16, knows that Gabriel is trans. Miguel is several years younger, and they haven’t told him yet. They plan to though.
“She won’t be a kid who’s shocked,” Isabelle predicted to her friends. They noted that they raised their children on good values like inclusivity, so they wouldn’t expect bigotry from either of them.
But what about the rest of the family? Isabelle feels she can point her mother in the right direction. His father on the other hand?
“My dad is very reserved,” she characterized. “And he can say that we are ‘sinners’.”
Isabel added: “But I don’t know what’s going to happen if he stops talking to me. I don’t want to hurt those bonds at home that are so strong.”
“It would be very difficult if my father asked me to separate from Gabi,” Isabelle told the cameras.
“I don’t want to decide between my family and my relationship, my life anymore,” she confirmed. “I don’t know what could be worse.”
Gabriel has previously faced family disapproval from the parents of an ex. He hopes that history does not repeat itself.
