It’s only been a month since Todd Chrisley reported to prison to serve his 12-year sentence.
But it looks like life on the inside has already taken a toll on the disgraced reality star.
In June 2022, Todd was indicted on tax evasion charges along with his wife, Julie Chrisley.
He was sentenced to a dozen years for his crimes, while Julie received 9 years.
Aside from the felony couple themselves, no one has been more affected by the scandal than Savannah Chrisley.
When Todd and Julie turned themselves in to authorities, Savannah became the legal guardian of their younger siblings, 16-year-old Grayson and 10-year-old Chloe.
So in addition to the trauma of both her parents going to jail, Savannah now has a motherly role in her brother and sister’s lives.
Savannah recently traveled to Florida to visit her father, who is locked up in a minimum security facility in the Sunshine State.
“I would say it’s really weird to see her with gray hair, like, really weird!” Savannah gushed about Todd while discussing the trip on her podcast (via The Ashley’s Reality Roundup).
“He definitely used some [hair] color over the years and seeing her now with gray hair, it’s really weird.

“My dad is a father to those who don’t have a father figure… I’m blessed [he gets] For someone to be like that,” Savannah said.
“I’m willing to share [him], But not for long. I’m still fighting
The fight Savannah is referring to is likely her parents’ appeals process, which is already underway.
“Even after meeting my dad, I have so much hope and so much strength restored,” Savannah said.
“I know this is not the end. And I know [my parents] We’re going through what we’re going through so that we can bring change, bring change for us,” she continued.
“Whether this appeal works or not, they’re still coming up with a story.”
Savannah says her mother, Julie Chrisley, isn’t faring too well behind bars, as her facility has ventilation issues and has been accused of housing inmates in excessively hot conditions.
Savannah claims that the service dogs cannot be kept in non-air-conditioned areas of the federal medical facility located in Lexington, Kentucky, where Julie is imprisoned, because doing so would be considered inhumane — but apparently, they feather inmates. are good enough for
Needless to say, Savannah is probably feeling the urgency of her parenting appeal more than ever.
