Allison Holker thanks fans for “hope and inspiration” after death of Stephen ‘Twitch’ boss

Allison Holker would like everyone to know something very important.

Two months after the death of her husband Stephen “Twitch” Boss, the professional dancer took to Instagram on Saturday to express her gratitude.

“I want to say thank you at this time to all of you for the love and support that you have sent me and my family,” the 35-year-old said in a video posted to Instagram.

Holkar uploaded the footage in December in the wake of Boss taking his life back.

Holker continued, “It’s been very challenging and emotional, but you guys have brought so much hope and inspiration to us by sharing stories and memories and moments and the different ways Stephen impacted your lives.”

“It has brought us so much hope and inspiration.”

Boss rose to prominence as a contestant on MTV’s The Wade Robeson Project before becoming the runner-up on Star Search.

He then placed second on So You Think You Can Dance… in 2008, and six years later appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show as a guest DJ.

Boss eventually became a permanent fixture on the talk show and attained the position of co-executive producer in 2020.

Allison Holker shared this selfie after her husband’s suicide. May his soul rest in peace.

Holkar – who married Boss in 2013 – went on:

“She was someone who was just beautiful, and she lived her life with love and it made you feel a certain way.

“My family and I have always said that we wanted to make sure that our purpose was to bring joy to people, by bringing joy into people’s homes, whether through dance or love – and that’s not about to change for us.

“It’s going to feel a little different, but we know this is our purpose, and we will continue to do so today.”

Stephen ‘Twitch’ Boss has passed away at the very young age of 40. The beloved dancer sadly took her own life.

The Dancing With the Stars alum and Boss share son Maddox, 6, and daughter Zia, 3.

Before his death, Boss had also adopted Holkar’s 14-year-old daughter Wesley from a previous relationship.

“I hope we can remember the spirit he gave us and remember that we can still go on from there.

Holkar told followers, “We can still move forward and choose love, and we can still choose grace and we can still choose kindness.”

“And I will always be there for you guys, and I appreciate you guys being there for us at this time. This goes a long way for us, so thank you. And I hope you guys remember how special you are and how much of an impact you make around the world and continue to grow from there.

“we love you guys.”

Boss was laid to rest on 4 January in a small family funeral.

About a month later, hundreds turned out for a celebration of life in his honor.

“To my husband, best friend, babe, chi-chaker, superman and father of my children I love you forever and ever!” Holkar had earlier captioned a slideshow of happy moments with the boss.

“We will always remember you as the true beacon of light that you were and we will continue to spread your light and love all over the world.

“Thank you for sharing our incredible memories and our beautiful life together.”
