in just two episodes of 90 Day Fiancé: The Second Way Season 4, Gabriel Paboga has done two major things.
He has brought long overdue trans representation to the franchise. and he also has Absolutely Instantly endeared himself to the audience as a fan favourite.
But that doesn’t mean that people don’t want to know more about him. or some concern.

We met with her sister, Monica, who read her for the dirt while she paid her tattoo tribute to Isabel. Gabe is charming… and a little impulsive.
It turns out that Monica was so sure she would be a good fit for the franchise that she pretended to be the one she wrote in as her.
Of course, being in the spotlight means that Gabriel has a lot riding on his shoulders.
He is a transgender person who is on television at a time when the trans community is facing a massive coordinated attack across the US and in other countries. There are a lot of eyes on him right now.
“It feels like I have an expectation to live up to,” admitted Gabriel. entertainment tonight,

Because both Gabe and Monica have watched the show, they know the memes and body shaming that can be generated from the people they see on screen. So yes, it is a vulnerability.
“I’m just thinking, ‘Oh, a lot of people are going to make fun of my nipples.’ That’s exactly my view,” he admitted.
Gabriel said, “So that’s the first thing I thought about, how many memes are my nipples going to be.”
“And then I’m like, well, you know what, I think, you know, people make fun of me for my nipples,” he added with approval.
“But then it seems, everything would be beneficial to everyone,” Gabe said. “Because if I’m going to help someone else I’m going to go out of my way and be a fool.”
“Overall, it would be better for thousands of people,” he suggested again.
“Because I know what it feels like to be a transgender person,” Gabriel continued.
“So it’s like, I wish someone had told me everything I know now,” he admitted.
“So I think it’s a good thing to show people that, you know, trans people aren’t just weird, or, you know, or a freak,” Gabe said. “Or they’re never going to find love because you can live a normal life and still be trans.”
He worries about being seen as a touchstone for the entire trans community. Among other things, he is “a little too reckless,” she admitted.
Meanwhile, some viewers criticized Gabriel for not telling Isabel Posada right away – at least, not before the first kiss – that she is transgender. He’d told her before they slept together, but Isabel had already discovered the accident on his Instagram from a (relatively) thirst.
This is a complex subject. And it’s something that Gabe has thought about.
“I’m not going to lie, we were dancing together great, and we were making out together,” Gabe recalled of the night they met.
“And I’m like, ‘Oh, crap. She doesn’t know,'” she continued. “And I always tell people because I have a YouTube channel and I give people advice — like, if you’re transgender. , then you are transgender, whatever.”
Gabriel said: “I always give people my social media before I go on a date with them, before, like, I even give them my phone number. … Because people, when you look at me, they won’t know. “
“I have to be 100 percent, like, so I never find myself in this position,” Gabrielle says of herself approaching him.

There are some things that people should always disclose. But whether someone is cis or trans is debatable. I’m certainly not an authority on that.
But it’s worth asking: How many people “reveal” that they’re cisgender before kissing someone? Is it fair to make demands of a trans person? Especially when trans people become targets for the worst bigots imaginable.
If someone can face eviction, firing, or even violence just for existence… then who are we to demand that they expose themselves to potential danger before a harmless kiss with a new dude? put in danger?
Meanwhile, Gabriel doesn’t hesitate to send money to Isabel. He doesn’t think she’s using him – and notices it’s for him too.
There she has a house, her clothes and more. It’s also a lot cheaper than one of Airbnb’s overpriced rentals.
“How am I losing money and how is she using me if I even have things in there? I have all my clothes and I have everything,” Gabe said. “How is she using me? ? If anything, I’ll use it for house-sitting.
And Gabriel is even more adamant when it comes to helping Isabelle’s children.
“Yeah, well that’s what you do, when it’s your family you take care of a family,” he said.
“I just felt like, I don’t know. I love her. I love her kids,” argued Gabe. “So it’s not like she’ll say give me money for this and this and this and then She’s, you know, buying lavish things. She is buying food and clothes.”
