At first, fans were convinced that Lori secretly gave birth to a fifth child.
(In fact, this particular theory is alive and well, and the longer Cal goes without addressing it, the stronger the speculation gets.)
Soon after, Lori became embroiled in an ugly feud with Janelle Evans.
(Actually, Cal and Jenelle have been feuding for a decade, and another flare-up just happened this week.)
Now, Cal is fully involved New The controversy surrounding her relationship with Elijah Scott.
As you may recall, it was rumored back in November that Lori and Scott had broken up.
(It was also rumored that Cal was pregnant with Elijah’s child at the time of the split—more on that later.
Cal was shilling some travel mugs on her Instagram Story earlier this week, and viewers were quick to notice that she wore what looked like an engagement ring.
Naturally, this sparked rumors that Kail is engaged – rumors to which she has yet to respond.
So not surprisingly, many people are now under the impression that Elijah only recently answered the question.
And others are convinced that she’s just feeding the rumor mill to keep her name in the tabloids.
This latest development distracts from a much bigger rumor about Cal — namely, that she’s now a mother of five, but has made the bizarre decision to keep her youngest child a secret.

On Reddit and elsewhere, fans had a mixed reaction to the news of Cal’s possible engagement.
