When we last saw Amy Slaton and Tammy Slaton on television, it was February 6th of this year.
Since then, a lot has happened… the two women have agreed to date; Tammy has lost more weight; and Amy was recently arrested for drug possession.
Fans are sharing these developments on social media and various celebrity gossip websites.
Will they get a chance to revisit the lives of the Slaton siblings on TLC.
Yes.
We can confirm that 1000-Lb Sisters Season 6 has been greenlit by the executives and will premiere on the above-mentioned cable network on Tuesday, October 8, 2024, at 9 PM ET/PT.
The only real question is when the episodes were recorded – and therefore what they will and won’t include.
Last season, Amy dealt with the tragic death of her husband, Caleb Willingham … while she went through a divorce from Michael Halterman, the father of her two children.
“I have no support,” she told producers, and once again broke down in tears over the separation. “I tried to do stuff for Tammy, tried to chase boys, tried to chase Michael, it’s a lot.”
This is certain.
This month, Amy was at the center of an unusual scandal when she was bitten by a camel while visiting a zoo in Tennessee. And then when officers went to check on her, she was allegedly caught with marijuana and mushrooms.
It seems Amy’s sons were also with her at the time, as Slaton was charged with child endangerment and is now under investigation.
For her part, Tammy is focusing on staying healthy and losing weight.
“I take a lot of pictures, a lot of selfies, not because I look good — okay, I take a few — but mostly because I want to remember how big I was, what I looked like,” Slaton explained via TikTok on August 27.
“And I’m like, man, I was huge! I lost 500 pounds. I can’t sit in this chair.”
500 pounds. It’s really amazing.
We guess Amy might have been arrested after Cameras stopped filming on Season 6. We doubt we’ll see anything about it on air.
As we heard earlier, the shooting began several months ago.
Did the producers insist that the season be extended to include Amy’s arrest and other new and interesting storylines involving these loved ones?
